Er. Deepak Kumar Prasad has dedicated his career to mentoring defence aspirants through disciplined training, psychology guidance, GTO practice and leadership development. Er. Deepak Kumar Prasad is the Founder and Director of GAPS SSB Academy, one of the leading institutes for NDA, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF and SSB Interview preparation in India. With more than a decade of dedicated experience in defence mentorship, psychology guidance, GTO training and personality development, he has helped thousands of defence aspirants prepare for careers in the Indian Armed Forces. Under his mentorship, 700+ candidates have been recommended for various defence entries, making him one of the experienced mentors in the field of SSB interview guidance.
An Ex-IMA Officer, 7 Times Recommended candidate, B.Tech (Mechanical) graduate, Defence Psychologist, GTO & Interview Mentor, Er. Deepak Kumar Prasad has devoted his professional life to understanding the SSB selection process from the perspective of personality assessment rather than rote preparation. His training philosophy focuses on developing genuine Officer Like Qualities (OLQs), leadership skills, communication, confidence and decision-making abilities that are essential for success in defence selection boards.
Throughout his mentoring journey, he has conducted defence awareness programs, SSB workshops, psychology sessions and career counselling initiatives across Military Schools, Sainik Schools, NCC Battalions, Universities and educational institutions in different parts of India. His interaction with defence aspirants from diverse backgrounds has enabled him to design practical and result-oriented training methods for candidates preparing for NDA, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, TES, Navy, Air Force and SSB Interviews.
In 2022, Er. Deepak Kumar Prasad established GAPS SSB Academy with a clear vision of providing transparent, student-focused and performance-driven defence coaching. The academy combines written examination preparation with complete SSB interview training, including Psychology Tests (TAT, WAT, SRT, SD), GTO Tasks, Personal Interview guidance, Communication Skills, Current Affairs, Mock Assessments and Personality Development under one roof.
Today, students from Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and many other states visit GAPS SSB Academy to prepare under his mentorship. His practical approach, individual guidance and continuous performance evaluation have earned the trust of thousands of defence aspirants who aim to serve the nation as officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
