SSC MTS Vacancy
SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancy has been released along with SSC MTS Recruitment Notification. For the year, Staff Selection Commission has released a total of 1558 vacancies out of which 1198 Multi Tasking Staff and 360 Havaldar vacancies in CBIC and CBN. The category-wise vacancy distribution for Multi Tasking Staff posts and Havaldar posts have been tabulated here.
SSC MTS Application Fee
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2023 is Rs. 100/-. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2023 exam.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC MTS written Exam. Before filling the applications for SSC MTS Exam, the candidates must know the minimum required Eligibility Criteria in terms of nationality, education qualification, and age limit. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:
SSC MTS Citizenship
A candidate is required to be
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
SSC MTS Age Limit
The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
- i) A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2005.
- ii) 18-27 years, candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005.
Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.
Havaldar Age Limit
A candidate must be of a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age, candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS written Exam.
SSC MTS Selection Process
The eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted on the basis of three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as below-
Stage 1- Paper-1 (Objective)
Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar)
SSC MTS Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paper-1, PET/PST (only for havaldar). Paper-1 is an online exam that is objective multiple choice question type.
SSC MTS 2023 Paper-1 Exam Pattern
There will be Computer-Based Examination which is divided in 2 Sessions. Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 and there will be no negative marking in Session-1.

SSC MTS Paper-1 Exam Analysis- General Awareness
The questions of the General Awareness section last year were Easy to Moderate. The major area of focus this year was in the field of Static GK, Science, Award and Honors, Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, Sports, Important Dates & Days, Portfolios, History, Culture, Geography, India and its neighbouring countries. Static GK was given a higher weightage in the General Awareness Section of the SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam.
SSC CHSL Recruitment
SSC CHSL (10+2) exam includes Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. SSC will select and recommend candidates for Assistants / Clerks posts through a computer-based test, descriptive paper, and skill test, or typing test. The SSC CHSL exam is held in 2 stages called (Tiers). The entire process of registration and communication happens online through the official website of SSC CHSL. SSC CHSL Application Fee
- The required application fee for General Category for SSC CHSL 2023 is Rs. 100/-

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria
There are 3 important eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfil in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL written exam. The 3 parameters are given below:
SSC CHSL Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

SSC CHSL Educational Qualification
For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates who are planning to appear in CHSL 2023 exam must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Before beginning the SSC CHSL preparation, it is important to make note of changes in the exam pattern and syllabus. The modifications to SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023 are given below:
- SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Introduction of a descriptive paper of 100 marks within 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.
- Reduction in the time limit for examination of Tier -I from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
- Tier II will include Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test.
- There is no Tier 3 Exam from SSC CHSL onwards.

SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification
For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs- A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)– Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. SSC CGL Selection Process [Revised]
SSC CGL 2024 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
1.1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature)
1.2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Paper III for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- All candidates who have applied successfully for SSC CGL exam, will be assigned Roll numbers and Admit Card for appearing in the Computer Based Examination (Tier-I).
- Based on the marks scored in Tier-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.
- Separate cut-offs will be released separately for Paper-II of Tier-II (i.e. for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Paper-III of Tier-II (i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) and for Paper-I of Tier-II (i.e. for all other posts).
- Tier-II Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.
- In Tier-II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I, II and Paper-III. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer will be required to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III respectively.

SSC GD Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, and riflemen) must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
SSC GD Age Limit
Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for the SSC GD 2024 Exam. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2001 and later than 01-01-2006. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.
SSC GD Constable Selection Process
The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2024 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages-

After the medical test, the candidates shortlisted will have to appear for document verification.
For Computer-Based Examination
As per the notification pdf, the computer-based examination will be of 160 marks consisting of 80 questions. There will be 4 sections in the online exam to be attempted in 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong. There will be no penalty if the question is left unanswered.
